Vette(s): 1975 convertible, with the hard top and power streering.it a 350 L48 with auto trans. the color is light blue.

While I was working on the car I notice this...it don't look right so I want to look into changing it. This is where the steering column connects to the steering box. My problem I don't know what it called to look it up.  Rick

Most commonly called a rag joint...doing search at Ecklers the term rag joint brings up what you want.

"Rag Joint" or "Steering Coupler"...either is accepted terminology.
Resist the urge to buy a "Repair Kit"....the kind that just comes with a new rubber/flex part, and a couple of bolts. Bite the bullet, and get a "real" coupler....you'll be much more happy...and safer, imho.Thumbs Up
