CLA is a 350ci 180hp automatic transmission.
I don't have the decoder for the date stamp.

"V" is the Flint Engine assembly line, 12= December, 03= 3rd day of December. The serial number gives the year, in this case it is 1977. "CLA" is L48, 350ci engine, Federal Emissions, for a turbo 350 trans, as has been stated. So the engine was assembled and date stamped at the Flint Engine plant on December 3rd, 1977. The VIN was stamped at the St. Louis assembly line.
