More about an engine missing under load ?

Are all distributor caps created equal? As i have recently posted I upgraded my distributor cap to am MSD cap, rotor and coil. While on my never ending quest to find an engine miss ( not a woman with a motor) I discovered inside of the cap that the 4 screw's that hold the coil into the cap was pushing through inside the cap and there was a burn mark and hole because it is arking to the screw and coil??????hmmmmmmm does anyone think that this is why the engine is missing under load. I am of course going to change the cap. and file the screws down so they dont come through. I will post my findings

Has anyone ever noticed the hold down screws coming through the inside of the cap??.
