Hey check the build date of the engine and see if it close to the build date of the trim tag in the door?

The numbers are on the back of the engine next to the 3970010 numbers that would tell if the engine is the same year of the car.

V0919 translates to Flint, Michigan engine build(V)
September(09) 19th(19)
To find the year, you need to look at the casting date, on the rear of th block opposite of where the casting # 3970010 is. Take another look at This to see where the block date code casting is.

The 3970010 is on about every 350 blk there is. Some are different but most are of this # I raced and went thru about 40 SBC motors and all of them had that #.
There is a site Mortec. com it think it is that has listings that can tell you just about anything to do with your motor# and head also. There are sites that should you list your vin tell you just about everything about your car. #S at the front of the block flat spot near water pump.
That motor # came in many yrs, and many makes and models.
