Vette(s): 1971 Convertible, black on black with white top. 454, Hurst 4-speed. No Power Brakes, Steering or Windows.
I live between Detroit and Toledo, Flat Rock Michigan.
Would anyone know of a reputable shop that builds performance engines?

Check the latest issue of Corvette Fever....they have listings, by state of "Corvette repair shops you can trust".

Vette(s): 1982 Collector Edition, color is silver/beige.
The lastest edition of Corvette Fever did not list ANY repair shops in Michigan. This does not mean there aren't any in the down river area, just that no Corvette owner's submitted any to Corvette Fever editor to be published. I am sure there are at least several reputable shops in either Monroe or Taylor, Michigan. I do not know of any specifically because I live in Sterling Heights which is northeast of Detroit...7 miles. I will try to find some in your area by asking around.
