Yeah Joel. just pulled 3 studs and sealed em after draining the block. No more steam, no more green loquid stuff in the valve covers!!! Thanks for all of your advice!!  Big%20smile LukesVette2009-02-23 11:52:26

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
Great sound there Paul. I'd be willing to bet those are Flowmasters.  Had it on the dyno yet?

Hey Jim. Flowmasters tehy are and I love the sound!! Made a touch over 540 HP  and over 550 Tq at the flywheel on the engine stand.Thumbs%20Up

Even though I have chambered exhaust, I'm still partial to that distinct sound of the Flowmasters.

Now get that bad boy to the track and get us a 1/4 mile et. You might force me to turn my NOS on. LOL

BTW, at what RPM did you reach your maximum HP & TQ?

5700 - and the roller cam revs really quick!! Still getting used to it!!Embarrassed
