Is there a differance between lower left and lower right oem replacement ball joints or are they identical replacements for either side?

They're both the same, as far as I know. Uppers and lowers, as far as side to side, are the same.

Vette(s): Silver '81 mostly original C3. Silver interior, bilstiens, big sway bars, headers.
Mine's on the "todo" list for lower ball joints, any handy hints for this job ?   (or watchoutfors !)

Yeah, put your thumb on your vice and hit it real hard with the hammer to get that out of the way.
