Vette(s): 1970 T-Top350/350hp numbers matching 4 speed. It's a mess and 1970 Convertible 4 speed.
Well same issue the driver side spindle it will not drop. I must not be doing something right. When I took out the coil spring it was bent on the top and the top portion of the spring seem to be press together. The driver side seem to be shorter then passenger side. I wonder if the driver side had been hit. Underneath the wheel well you can tell it had a major repair. Is there some way you can tell if the frame is straight? It also looks like I need to replace to the lower A-arm also it does not look right. Well its off to the suspension shop to take off my ball joints.

Have you tried Advance Auto parts.. they have the tools to remove ball joints etc and you can borrow them with a deposit. I used them to remove mine... you tighten the hell out of the extractor and if it doesn't pop off... then smack  the head of the extractor bolt... and they should pop off... you will know when.. sounds like a shot!Sleepy
