This isn't really related to Handling Components.
More like appearance. But it is attached to the wheel.

I lost one of my center caps. It is somewhere between NJ and NY. Let me know if you find it.

Where is a good place to find a used one?
I might have to spring for four new spinners if I don't locate one.

That's a bummer Dave. I worry about one of my caps falling off. They really don't feel that tight when they pop on.
Do you want the spinners?
It's only money

I bought a single spare from one of the parts houses (probably Eckler's) for a few bucks. I worry about losing them too.

Edit: #606-341 from www.madvet.com Dave. The cap is pretty cheap, it's the replacement emblem that'll get ya

This is a day (or two) late and a few dollars short -- but -- I lost a rally wheel center cap several years ago. After finding a replacement through StingrayJim I would pop them off while on the road and pop them back on once I reached my destination.
The center caps on "BIGBRRD"'s snowflakes are known to fly off on their own quite frequently. A dab of silicone goo is recommended to help keep them in place.
Happy hunting on finding a replacement.

Spring for the spinners Dave. My cousin has them on his red 81 and they look nice. He bought the corvette centers for them too so the look somewhat like Bling Factory....

Have to see what Santa says. I'll keep the other three and look for a replacement next August at Carlisle.

I'll ask my cousin if he has the original centers today. He may have one that I can get for you. (no promises) If he doesn't I know where there may be another set that I can lay hands on. I'll let you know.

dave, why don't you post a pic of what it looks like that way if anyone
should happen to see them while looking around could give you a heads
up? just a thought and it would be a lot more eyes looking for it.

O
Norsky is right. I lost one on mine a couple of times and, while I found it again, it was really scratched up. I use RTV to seal them on.
