Vette(s): 1975 convertible, with the hard top and power streering.it a 350 L48 with auto trans. the color is light blue.
Thanks to all for the advice ,I'm leaning toward the GM performance 350/290hp.From what I read and heard here it sound like that motor will meet my needs.I don't need a real high horse powered motor ,because I'm a cruiser not a racer. And like I said the shows I do are are about 100+ miles of driving one way.Again thanks all.

Besides, Rick, anything beats your current 165!!!!!! (sorry, had to say it  Embarrassed ) As long as you're happy with it, it doesn't matter! I'd like more HP, but as long as mine is running like it is, it'll stay (unless I find the money tree!!!!  Big smile ).

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
All depends on your budget and how much power you're looking for Rick. Low $2K and up once you break the 300 HP barrier basically...
