Mine rides much better, Rick! But I also put the Bilstein shocks on it at the same time. All I can tell you is the ride to Illinois and back was extremely comfortable (to my utter amazement)!! glad to see you're getting out some. Besides, the fiberglass don't rust!!!!

Fiberglass by far. Did mine a few years ago and didn't tell the wife. On the first ride on our wonderful Maine roads she asked me if I did anything to the car to make it ride better. She had no idea what I was doing out in the garage. They do say to use gas shocks with them.

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
I went with the stock metal rear spring about 6 years ago. I must say it does'nt ride too bad, but when I ride in a C3 with the fiberglass spring I do notice the difference.
If I could do it over again I'd go with the fiberglass. Maybe I will in a few years.

FIBERGLASS FOR SURE. uNLESS YOUR A STOCKIE. BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET ONE TOO STIFF AS IT WILL AFFECT YOUR RIDE. DEFINATELY UPGRADE SHOCKS TOO. GOOD LUCK
