Decisions, decisions...
The issue is this:
1) B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A
2) Goodyear Eagle GT II
3) Kumho
4) ?
Time for new meat. Currently running #3. Downside is it takes forever to warm up and rides like a lumber wagon. Tire noise louder than chambered side pipes! They don't look near as cool as other tires out there.
I'll be running 60 15's.
Two guys I know are running #1 & #2. Cars ride and handle great, no road noise and warm up lots quicker. Will be doing some very light low speed autoX. Mainly cruisin' and drives around 4 to 5 hrs or less.
As always, any and all thoughts welcome.
Thanks!!!

I have # 2's and will go back with # 1's soon. #2's didn't handle all that well and tread life was too short.
They did look good tho....

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

I have the BFG Radial T/A's on my '78 and think they're great. On a different car I have Cooper Cobra's, but they're brand new so I don't have experience enough to give a real recommendation, but my wife and I have Cooper tires on several other cars and have have had nothing but positive things to say about them.
I've heard a lot of less than positive feedback from people with Goodyear's...especially with new Vette's with the runflat tires. Most complaints seem to be about ride quality and road noise more than handling, though.
A friend knows a tire dealer that sells Hankook tires. He says they are excellent quality and more round than other brands, needing less weights to balance them than other makes.
