What i do not understand is in the manual they speak of :

the primary leads and condensor leads MUST be routed in the right way or there can be interference  from weights-plate, shaft and  points baseplate. What is this meaning ???? Bad ignition ???
Do they refer to possible wire  damage  and  bad  currents involved  or  something like "induced" currents from the elements working together ????

The manual shows the condensor lead routed AGAINST the turning distributorshaft ( clockwise) , as when i bought the car this lead was routed also clockwise. Or is this of no importance ?

Barry/Norbert, what they are saying is, make sure the wires are routed in a way that will keep them from getting hit/damaged by the rotation of the dist. weights. Also, so the wires don't rub against the side of the dist., as the advance plate rotates. As the plate moves, the points and condensor move with it, and the wires will flex a little.

Thanx ! i was thinking of induced currents , resulting cross-firing etc.....Ok, so no problem as long wires are not damaged or touched by moving parts !
