I've got a question concerning my intake. I've noticed that 2 of the mounting holes are craked. This is an aluminium intake on a BB. Don't know if they are leaking but I was planning on removing the intake. Do I get these points welded ?

You can try to get it welded, take it to somebody that knows what they are doing, while you are there have him check it over good, make sure there are no other cracks,it might be warped ,if so you will probably have to replace it

I agree with Ron. Personally I would replace it. If its cracked now whats going to keep it from cracking again? Sounds like its either old and brittle or was over torqued. I have Edlebrock low rise on mine however mines a S/B. I went with low rise so I didn't have to change the hood. I definatly noticed the diffrence from stock. You either have to go with electric choke or like me, try to dial in the stove pipe. Summitt has a pretty good price on intakes. Make sure you don't spend as much repairing as you would replacing.
