Hello all, this is my first post and am in need of information.  I am in the prcess of "fixing" my L-82 73 and would like to replace the current aftermarket intake with a period correct intake (i intend to obtain a correct Q-Jet as well) .  Who makes a good period correct intake manifold?  Has anyone had any positive or negative reviews of aftermarket intake manifolds?  Thanks in advance.

Why not look for the "correct", aluminuminum L82 intake? You can find those on e-bay sometimes. There are some of the Corvette parts vendors that sell them, also....I think.
It's a pretty good intake for a stock L82, or even one with a few mods.

Sometimes the members on this Forum have a part you might be looking for.Wink  Try posting a thread under "C3 parts for sale/wanted Forum" asking for the manifold.  Like Joel said, Ebay is a good place to look also.  Good luck!  I have some extra parts for a '69, but that won't help you.....wrong year.....LOL

A good fit is the Weiand 8004 manifold...I run it with a Q-jet and stock air cleaner with no problems.....A versatile manifold, use can use a spreadbore or square bore carb....

Larrry from Corvette Specialties may be able to source a stock L82 manifold for you.

Try tracyvette.com. They have a nice website and I found the original intake for mine about a year or so ago from them. Have your part # and casting info handy. They have Blocks, Heads and all kinds of stuff. Good prices and very nice to deal with.
