I am Installing an Eldebrock Performer manifold, Non EGR, and have a question on the intake center ports.Gasket installation says to install restrictor on left side. With the performer manifold with no EGR would i just leave the center ports open?

I would think since there isn't even a provision for a EGR valve it shouldn't really make a difference.

I just put a Performer on my 73. I left my center ports open.I'm very satisfied with it, great response!

When I installed my performer I left the restrictor out ,you don't need it,it was nice to get rid of that ugly E.G.R. valve too.I also put the wire brush to that choke coil tube too b-4 I reinstalled it ,it was pretty gunked up

I installed a Performer on my '78 and there is a very noticeable improvement. You should be happy.
