Increase horsepower

I have a 75 coupe that I am in the process of installing the 68/69 style side pipers. That said I would like to bump up my horsepower. Without being able to install headers because of the side pipes How limited will I be? Will the pipes increase my airflow enough to allow me some changes to beef up the engine or is there too much of a restriction with them. I look forward to your input.

Who says you need to keep stock manifolds to use sidepipes? Hooker makes side pipe header kits for the C-3 that should flow excellent for a huge amount of horsepower. For the engine mods, it goes how much money you got? How much horspower you want? How much of a bump?  Those pipes will allow for a lot of air flow increase.  You can start with the basic intake manifold and or roller 1.6 ratios rockers.  You can go to a cam and lifters.  A set of performance heads is another option.  There are many things you can do.

Bottom line,  "How fast do you want to go?  How much do you want to spend?"
