Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.

Chevy 427 c.i. engine, balanced crank, high compression pistons, large valves, etc. less than 5k miles. $2000 (319)472-4690. Haven't called for any further info, if anyone's interested I might be able to look at it and get more info.

Vette(s): 1981, Black/Black, Engine bumped to about 400HP.Ext/int mostly stock.

Two WOWs.

1) If there is nothing wrong with that engine, that's a great price.  However, you rarely get the unknowledgeable seller - you usually are getting what you pay for.

2) What a great looking car MattK.  I have an '81 that has sentimental value that can't be replaced.  However, the '69 convertible has always had the highest droool factor for me of ANY vette ever produced.

Thanks for the compliment. I may call about the engine, I have tomorrow off, if it's not too far, I may go look for curiousities sake.

There was also a truck 427, nowhere near the same motor. It's a really tall deck configuration.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
AMEN Dave...in 1967 there were 3754 corvettes produced with the 427/435hp. I'd be willing to bet there's over 15,000 out there now. Heck, Proteam has probly sold more than that.

Matt,

Check that phone number again. I tried to call 3 times and a recording came on and said, "i'm sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed". I had the operator try and she got the same message.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Either there is a problem with the number, or there have been so many calls they took the phone out of service.
