Hoping for some advise on how to set up my distributor. I purchased a MSD Pro-Billet corvette specific distributor with tach drive. I can adjust the amount of centrifical advance and how fast the advance comes in by changing springs and bushings. I was wondering how much advance I should allow for and by what RPM it all needs to come in at? Any help would be appreciated.

try a total of 24"built in"degrees and with a 10-12 degrees initial setting that will give you a total of 34-36 degees, you will want it all in at 2800-3000 RPM, I recomend you have it spun on a distributor machine, if it has a vac.adv. they can adjust it to.

thanks for the help. I put the bushing that allows for 25 degrees of centrifical + the 10 initial, should be able to get that 34 - 36 no problem. The springs I am using should allow full advance around 3000 rpm. After I road test this new set up I will let youall know how it worked out. Thanks,
