I learned something to day

I am in the process of changing my vette from a auto to manual. What I found out is the u-joint for a manual is a different size from the auto but the drive shaft is the same length. The manual size u-joint is 3 1/4 and the auto is 3 11/16. This whole thing had me stubbed for a day. I thought I had the wrong size drive shaft.
