first the bad news. last weekend while going to the fri night cruise night when i applied the brakes it pulled to the left. checked the fluid and was low. sat i added fluid and bled them and still no pedal. went and to the auto store and all they had was a rebuilt m/c so i bought it. installed and bled the brakes and car was fine. used it on mon.

go to take it fri nite and i step on brake and it clunks and i have no brakes again. checked for any broken lines and none to be found. one compartment in m/c is low . i pull it off and the d**n thing was badAngry. went back and did what i should have in the first place and ordered a new one. will be here tomorrow.Smile

good news, which i will update other post is the 90 is going to body shop to get fixed tomorrow.Clap

Dave,
It sure sounds like you and your Corvettes have been through the School Of Hard Knocks lately.
Glad to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Summer is just getting started & hopefully you've got all the bugs worked out.
Thumbs Up
Kevin

That is exactly why we will only sell new GM master cylinders.  They are more expensive, but not compared to the cost of body and paint.... or worse.

Just to pose the question, does the 75 have the perportional valve?. reason is you should not loose all brakes, if one portion of the mc is loosing fluid their should be a leak but the perpotioning valve should set so you still have front or rear brakes.

yes it does have the valve but if the master cylinder goes the pedal will go all the way to the floor and does not have the pressure to push the brake fluid thru the lines
