hey, Jack and Dave, I've been noticing on your cars that Huuuge Wiper door actuator.
were they fitted to later model cars? I have a 71. How close does it come to the rocker cover?

I decided to stay with the 11:1, I was lucky to have an original cam, GM, new in the tube and a set of GM edge orifice lifters! We upgraded to the better rods, bolts and went with a dynamic balance. I just hope it runs on 93 octane! We're breaking it in this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actuator? It wants to pivot just a bit, but it does clear the valve covers. What is on the car is the one it had when I bought it 17 years ago, my son mixed up a paint that matches the cad coat, carbs were re-plated and machined to square them up.

I still think you need to watch out for sand bogs.

if it doesnt quit raining ill have to watch for mud bogs..
there enough of a problem here when it doesnt rain 10 days in a row..
the creek in my yard is up about 2 ft...
if any of you come to arkansas.. dont go anyplace where the directions include "turn off the paved road".....
remember 4 wheel drive doesnt keep you from getting stuck, it just gets you stuck in worse places..
