Vette(s): 1979 Red #72 C3 Corvette,T-350,Black interior,air,tilt/tele,K&N.And a 1978 Olds Cutlass 350/350,auto,air,2-dr.,buckets

Any one have any idea after adding the following items to a stock '77 L-48,one might expect in horspower gains??: 1)Holley 650 electric,vaccuum 2nd, 2)Performer intake, 3) Dynomax Ceramacoat headers, 3)Summit HiPo 50k distributor, 4)true dual exhaust w/o convertors, 5)Flowmaster 40's(currently have stainless Magnaflows) 6)also have the Performer cam, 7) K&N filter |headscratch|

Without changing the heads you will be lucky to get more than 275HP. Corvette Fever did an article about building a 326HP L-48 back in 96. They replaced the pistons to increase comp and put in larger valves to improve flow through the heads. They used a Comp Cams H272 cam. The point was to keep the appearence of a stok L-48 for NCRS judging. Interesting side note was that they only gained 3-4HP difference between stock exhaust and headers.
