Just a little hint. When putting new equipment on, I always ground to a point I can see without too much trouble. Remember, the battery is grounded to the frame and the engine is also via their own ground cables. If you ground everything you need to onto the frame then everything should work. If you are grounding to something like the hood latches that "should" be connected to the frame but their bolts pass through fibreglass, you can't actually see the "Good" ground point.

Makes sense to me. Fiberglass doesn't make for a good ground, But wasn't sure about aluminum. Thanks!
