Just got back and was asking if they were on sale, cuz I need a couple, and found out that Goodyear has discontinued making this line. There are a bunch in warehouses still apparently, but when they're gone, that's all folks!

Goodyear said they still had plenty of bigger sizes still in stock, just that when they are gone they're gone.

I wonder if they plan on offering a comparably sized and priced alternative, or if it could be that the size does not sell well enough to fool with

Thanks for that info. I need to order a set for mine in the next week or so. My White vette has no miles on it but they are OEM and show dry rot in all the grooves I've heard you all say to get em off. Guess the childrens go hungry next month!

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

ebo - are those the original tires, or just original style? If they are original, sell them on e-bay. Someone WILL buy them

Really? They are original no scuffs and do look new. It's just when you look close in the grooves you see the cracks.
I'm assuming it must be for the show guys?
What will a set of four bring?

Just as an update, I ordered mine from Goodyear and they are having to have them shipped across the country due to local shortages.

Don't know what a set of four will bring. Downside will be the shipping, but maybe you can get someone to pick them up. I would start the auction at $100 and see where you can get...
Also, I just got my latest Mid America catalog today, and they list the Eagle GTs in it.
