Looking for possible reviews of Global West rear swing arms with front pivot bearing for 1980 C3. Anyone have any thoughts good/not so good? Are they worth the extra money vs. front rubber/poly bushing? Getting ready to tear down and rebuild rear suspension and not sure which way to go for the control arms.
Thanks

I used Van Steel's offset trailing arms with johnny joint instead of the stock bushing.  I'm very pleased with both the offset, which allowed much wider tires, and the johnny joint trailing arms.  The handling is much improved.  The johnny joint offers unrestricted movement vs the stock bushing with a longer lifespan.  A better shock will also make a difference.  Overall, I highly recommend the set up.  You can also get their trailing arms with hub and bearings or without, and with the stock bushing if you prefer vs the johnny joint.

Thanks for your reply.

I am looking at the Van Steel arms now as well. How easy is it to get to the Johnny joint for greasing? Seems like it might be a little difficult to get to. Haven't decided between the offset with Johnny joint or the offset with Energy Suspension poly front bushing (without Johnny Joint). With Johnny Joint is quite a bit more expensive...……...just wondering if it is really worth the added expense.
