Getting ready for a new engine

Update - the engine is being built! By the end of next month I may actually be on the road!

Not to worry, the wife has already been drafted to help with the engine install!

Update: The old engine is out. Couldn't get it on the engine stand because I don't have bolts to bolt the engine to it. But, I'm making progress. Does anyone know, off the top of their head, what size bolts I'll need to bolt the engine to the engine stand? jgoglick2006-09-17 20:19:31

Take the long starter bolt to the parts/hardware store, and get four of them like that.
Make sure first, tho, that the starter bolt is long enuff to go thru the arms of the stand you have. If it is not get bolts that are long enuff. The bolt size should be 7/16" coarse thread.
