Any experience out there putting a GearVendors Under/Over box behind a TH400?

Anything, but Stock and more mods to come!
SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
I have not heard of anyone doing this on a Corvette. However I know several people that have installed them in chevelle, cuda's, and some street rods. On all these applications you have to clearance the drive shaft tunnel. It also extends the output on the trans so its going to shorten the distance to the diff. by quite a lot. Your main concern is going to be clearancing around the unit. It may require cutting out some of the fiberglass around the unit and then reglassing the tunnel. On the applications above they simply heated the floor and stretched the metal to make it fit. I alos noticed on these cars that there is a noticable hump that can be seen looking into the cockpit where they expanded the tunnel.
I'd ask gear vendors to give you some dimenstions on the unit and do some measuring. "Measure twice, Cut ONCE!"

I have no experience firsthand, but have heard that it will go in without a TON of hassle. But then again, so will a 4L80E...
