changing out gear box can not get the pittman arm off. I took off the large bolt and I have a pittman arm puller. I can not tighten the puller any more arm still wont come off. I can not take the gearbox off the car because I have headers. pittman arm gets in the way so im trying to take the pittman off.

Might need a little persuasion with a medium sized hammer, or some heat. Heat is fastest, but it will also damage the seal on the lower steering box, so....
With the puller tight, tap(translation:beat the h**l out of) on the sides of the pitman arm. Those things are usually pretty stubborn to get off, but it will come off with a little "help". It might also help to bolt the gearbox back up to the frame, if possible.
