It's pretty straight forward. The pedal linkage under the dash has a slot that the cable slips into to go into the hole on the top of the lever. Disconnect the end at the carburator and there's a bracket at the rear of the carburator that the cable housing snaps into and a retainer at the firewall. You can either remove the bracket at the rear of the carb or snap the plastic retainer out of it with it mounted, whichever is easiest for you. mkapp7879 2007-05-20 20:47:14

Sorry for the laugh Frank. It just struck me as funny. But, it is a good idea to review one's message before posting.

Allow me to apologize for the behavior of a couple of folks that replied to this thread. We have removed their posts and have told the offenders that they were out of line.
One of the things that I pride myself on is keeping C3VR a friendly place where no one should be afraid to ask any question. I do know that a lot of joking and sarcasm happen around here, which is fine. But it needs to be clear when someone is joking.
At any rate, please don't let those comments stop you from posting more questions in the future. We're here to help!!
Thanks!
