I have this weird problem in the front end somewhere.  When you turn the steering wheel sharply to the left, sometimes I hear a pop noise.  Also, when I'm drivin' down the freeway and the road curves to the left I feel a vibration coming from the front suspension area.  What the Censored is wrong?  I always keep her greased regularly. Confused

Sounds like a control arm bushing, or possibly a ball joint. I'd bet on a bushing...or two...too bad you don't know anybody that could check it out for ya...

Most auto parts store can get them. Also many of the mail order places carry front end rebuild kits.

Should I go ahead and have the front end rebuilt?  Help!  I don't want to spend a bunch of $$ if I don't have to. Confused

You can check the bushings visually. They are either there and in good shape or not. Ball joints are a little trickier because the coil springs are providing a load on the control arms and that can "mask" loose ball joints. Any good front end shop can check them for you. Control arm bushings, particularly on the drivers side,  can be dissolved by P/S fluid and oil.
