Thanks Larry I saved that and printed it off. That is the spring project and Chip has convinced me to do the steroids!
Oh I feel my knuckles hurting already. Maybe I should do it now in the below zero weather so the blood does no flow as fast......LOL

[/QUOTE] Be very careful with the springs...they can kill you. Blood definitely will flow during the rebuid.........also wordsCensored that you nener knew existed, will flow from your mouth......you'll be speaking in tonguesCensored

I have posted this before, but will repeat.  We stock rebuilt front control arms on an exchange basis.  We sell them with our front end rebuild kit or separately.  Then you can do the whole project in one day.  And I will repeat what several people have said.  CHAIN DOWN THE SPRING!  It is almost always safe to remove, but once in a while, it can kill you.

Yeah a lot like air brake chambers!!!
I have spring compressors, thanks for the warnings. And VS larry, this will all be coming at you soon. We are looking at a heat wave tomorrow will be 40 degrees, yesterday morn it was -18!
Come on St. Pats Day LOL

[/QUOTE] I would still use safty chains. I guess we were lucky, it was only -7 yesterday with over a foot of lake effect snow.
