New springs do sometimes need a little driving time to "settle", and a lot of times, the a-arm bolts are tightened with the car in the air, and the suspension hanging. This contributes to the sky-high attitude. If you have original style, rubber a-arm bushings, always leave the end bolts on the control arms loose until the car is back down on the ground...this will eliminate any pre-load on the bushings that can cause the suspension to sit higher than normal...
