I think they will probabley fit, a racing spring is a stiff spring that will most likely lower the front of the car, you want the front and rear springs to match so the car handels right, the ride will be rough, is that what you want.

I want the car lowered but I dont want a rough if I can have that. What can I do to lower and still get a smooth ride?

The springs were designed for a vehicle with a big-block(1300 lbs/inch !!
)....which means they are quite stiff to begin with. They will prolly fit ok, and they will definitely lower the front of the car, but my opinion is they will be so stiff there will basically be NO suspension movement in the front.
I think(my opinion) I would pass on these, unless you are looking for a go-cart ride...
btw...@ 1300lbs, these are more than twice as stiff as the original springs on your car!

Man the 80's with the long nose are tough on humps and bumps in driveways. I've got a couple driveway entrance's around home that mine would bottom onto the nose plate for sure.
Wonder if you could change it with tire height?
Plus I see yours has the spoiler kit on it.
Just thinkin out loud........man I sure do love the color on that shark!

Thanks obo. well the thing is I had a fiberglass front bar it had no springs in this picture. I took off the leaf and put the oem springs it now it sits to high. got to get that nose down. I have 17 inch wheels and Im going to put on 255/45/17 and I want the fender to fit just over the tire.

Got cha, well there are some articles out there on how to cut the springs down. Google it and you find a bunch. Do not know how it will effect a vette, maybe some one here has done the chop drop.

Just a bit more food for thought........
Are the current front springs new?
How long have they been installed on your car?
Reason for these questions is I've heard that newly installed front springs (even new stock rated springs) can make a C3 stick up in front like a porpouis........and then they settle down after some driving time.
Just might be worth slappin' your old 15"s on it and goin' for a road trip.
