For anyone interested in the KYB GR-2's, check Vansteel (1-800-418-5397) for the best pricing at $31.99ea. They were well represented at Bloomington and were very helpful with a thorough explanation on how to replace the rear spring.

Vette(s): 1980 L82 Dark Metallic Green Coupe, Gymkhana Suspension, AM/FM/CB, GM ZZ383....nice....
Actually the KYB shocks I put on are not the GR-2s. I put on the KYB high pressure shock as recommended by Ecklers (also listed as their best seller replacement for Bilstein). These are guaranteed not to fade....forever, and run about $40 each. I'm sure I would be happy with Bilstein since I like a stiff ride, but I think with her age, she is better with these.

The low pressure gas is designed to be used with the fiberglass rear spring and the high pressure gas is best with all metal springs. |cheers|

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Just an off note. On reply metioned local, and Summit. For me Summit is local. Summit Racing is only 5 1/2 miles from my front door. It's a fun place to visit. Now back to our thread already in progress. |saluteflag|
