On top of the cost of a new crate engine, could someone tell me typically what additional cost I am looking at to have the engine installed? Labor+parts(?)..

I am currently considering getting a new engine for my '82 and would not like to be stuck in the middle of the project with no funds.

A friend just paid $1200 installed for a create motor in his vette. Included new clutch assm. Wires Hoses Motor Mts. and misc fluids. |frown|

Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Convertible. 350/350HP engine, power steering, 4 speed, burgundy exterior, black interior, black top, stainless steel brakes and optional hardtop. Rally wheels.

My guess would be in the 1200-1600 dollar range for installation.
