Hello All,
If you have new ceramic coated exhaust manifolds you CAN NOT break in the engine with them on the engine,as that(if the manufacturer finds out)will void the guarntee of the coating and dull the finish no matter what kind of lifters you use.
Please check this with the ceramic coating people or the manufacture..

Good Morning All,
I have been using a product called ZDDP Plus at about $9.99 per bottle and to date has been very effective.
The product that Summit recommends is very good as well, however if you can find the test result of these products ZDDP fairs a bit better.
You can find data on Big Daddy Don Garlits website as he recommends the product.
Have a great day,
Sal C

Kewl! Roller cam = no break-in period!!
Is it a hydraulic, or solid lifter cam? Either way, I bet it sounds better with the roller in it.
Ya need a couple of these decals for those valve covers, Joe....
but...good luck finding one....

For those w/ flat tappet cams, I've heard that Shell's Rotella oil still has some zinc phosphate in it since it's for diesels.
