not any where as bad as bcliff's blue 71 but would like my engine to look as nice as qurtz's 81

#2 -2000 C5, black/black, 6 sp, Bose system & lots of buttons.
Shoot, I took mine to the car wash and used plastic and tape to seal off the parts you don't want water in. Used the soap and water and rinsed it off, took off the plastic & tape, got in it and she fired right up. She was clean and then I painted the engine, fan shroud and some other parts.

If you already tackled the plug wires on that '82, a clean engine should be a piece of cake
