Hi Gang, I am doing the brakes on my 68 and have run
into a problem getting the new emer. brake shoes to
rest on the upper pivot. I have all the hardware
installed and the cable has slight slack, but the
top of the shoes are still 1/8 inch away from the
post. I can see the link is hitting the shoes in
the notch. What am I missing? Thanks, Bruce

Usually this means the cable is adjusted too tight. If you back off the cable adjustment the shoe should sit on the pin.
