Jack...is this what you have?

If the choke on your carb has a small tube on it going into a well on your old intake, then this adapter may or may not work. The tube type choke operates on drawing hot air thru that tube into the choke housing, so it has to have an open end to get air. It appears to me that this piece is to block off the depression in the intake....which it shouldn't need, since there is no opening in the intake....just a "well" of sorts for the choke tubing to fit into. I'd need to do a little more research to figure it out, but you might get away with drilling a hole in that plate, and sticking the tube from the choke housing down into it....not really sure. Did the intake have any instructions for this piece at all?
