Alan, Glad to hear they took care of the driveshaft issue. I remembered reading in the instuctions that vette driveshafts were pretty much a standard length, and all others had to be measured then ordered.

 Michele dealt with Jeff too. (since she bought it ;-D) He's a good guy to deal with.

I am seriously concidering the Keisler conversion for those extra gears.
 
Is there anything that you can offer being that you have already headed down that road?

Hi Jerry, the trans is one of my best investments. Mileage is a big plus, more so now. After pulling the trans out about 6 times, I modified the crossmember so you can pull your trans in 1-1.5 hours. Also, if your thinking of the hydraulic clutch now is the time. I did mine last year and had to pull it twice. Very smooth and easy to work. Dick

You wouldn't happen to have a step-by-step procedure for this one gathering dust in a corner somewhere, would ya?

  If anybody has an 82, or has previously installed a 700R4 Trans then the Driveline is allready the right lenght. Richard..
