Will removing the lower radiator hose completly drain the heads and intake of coolant?

If not, will removing the block plugs drain all of the coolant?

I am getting ready to replace the cam and its been a while, but I always remember getting a bit of coolant in the valley when removing the intake.

Thanks

You won't stop it 100% from draining a bit into the valley.  But it's not a problem.   Just change the oil when you are done with the job before you fire it back up.
