Can anyone help me? I am a Corvete Owner From England. I have a 1977 Corvette and need to get parts for the engine. it should be a L48 but I assume this has been changed over the years but to what? on the log bok it states the engine is a 5.2 liter which equals 317 cubic inch, but I can't fnd that size engine on any year corvette in the Corvette Black Book.
The ENGINE NUMBER is:- MA 25800
If anyone can shed some light on this your help would be greatly appreciated.
It was imported into England from California.
Thanks in advance
Chris

Hi,
It sounds like your engine number might belong to an older or uncommon series those can be difficult to identify without a proper reference guide. You could try matching the serial number format with manufacturer records or check local mechanic forums where others have shared similar issues.
I recently came across a helpful site, https://semakanstrinfo.my/, which focuses on verified updates and official information sources. That same habit of checking trustworthy references can make it much easier to confirm your engine’s exact model and avoid confusion later on.

Any way to add a "Report" button to the "Reply, Quote,..." area so we can alert you or the mods?
