Do BBC roller rockers work with stock valve covers?

First time poster here...glad to be a member!
I'm wanting to install roller rockers on my 454. My Vette has power brakes with the chrome valve covers. My questions include the following...
1. Will aftermarket roller rockers fit under the stock covers? (I'm thinking not.)
2. If not, what covers will work with the BBC, roller rocker arms, and power brakes?

Well....no. Not with the stock valve covers...BUT...it depends on the brand/type of rocker you use. There are some "roller" rocker arms that only have a roller tip, but not the fulcrum. Those will fit under the stock chrome vc.
I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of whichever rocker(s) you are considering, and see what they say.
There are some valve cover "spacers", too, that raise the vc up a bit, but still will clear the booster. They really amount to using two thick cork gaskets, but without the leaks!
I'll see if I can find some to show...

So, I should be ok to use the stock covers with either double gaskets or spacers....and still clear the brake booster?

Hi, Flandy here, I've got Crane aluminum rollers on my 427 in my 68. I'm using stck chrome valve covers with this combo, had to bend or remove the drippers though, hope this helps-Phil
