Does anyone have a good guide to diagnosing common steering/suspension issues?  I'm looking to expand my knowledgebase.

There are plenty of great threads in the archives here.
I found it best to just ask the question of the group and then sit back and take notes.

One thing I do know about steering components is the fact that mine leaks. I have three wet spots on the garage floor that remind me daily. I am planning to replace the steering valve, assist arm and hoses.

One thing I found out is that most of the kits sold by the Corvette places are manufactured by Lone Star Products and they have their kits availble directly for sale on ebay.

Thats about all I know....... learning more every day

YA cain't beat the Factory Service Manual(s) for info like that. Troubleshooting info, rebuild info, and basic service tech at your fingertips.
You can find the service manuals on ebay real reasonably priced every day.
Then again, you can come here and get the info too.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I agree about the service manual.  I have lots of useless book (not really useless they taught me that without the factory service manual for your year you are working with one hand tied behind you) Thumbs Up Does anyone know of a source for a pdf version of a factory service manuals.  It sure would be nice to be able to search for stuff?
