Has anybody dealt with intro custom wheels? Looking for something different on my 71.

Yes, I have a set of Intro Wheels in my 1968 Coupe. They are their Pentia wheels. In front they are 18x9 with 245x40x18 Nitto NT 555 tires and in the rear they are 18x10 with 275x40x18 Nitto NT 555 tires. My set has the rolled lip. I bought the package in 2004 and have been very happy with it. It took about a month to deliver as the wheels were made to fit my car. I dealt at that time with Dave the owner and his wife. There is a good article about him and Intro Wheels in Corvette Enthusiast magazine for August 2004 (volume 7, number 8), page 62. The article tells you everything about sizing. The backspacing was built into my set. Never had a problem with clearance. Let me know if you need more information. By the way my car is pictured in their web site or used to be anyway before I started the restoration on it. It is blue. Good luck.

Thats a nice loking ride, Joaquin! You took that paint off for primer? Seems a shame.

Thanks Barry. However, do not worry the black prime is just temporary. My hope is to have the car repainted in dark blue again in early 2012. That blue paint was about 30 years old and had some cracks and up close it showed its age. Also the fiberglass had some cracks that had to be fixed. Now that all that prep work is done, repainting is the next item on the agenda.

I was going to say! That is too nice a ride to be in primer! I know what you mean about cracks. My paint had them all over! In fact, its in the shop right now getting a first class job! Pricey, but I MUST have it perfect! Good luck with yours!
