I'm ready to put in my new crossmember bushings, does anyone know of a special tool to roll the end over? or do I just take a hammer and a pieces of soft steel and beat |hammer| it around the crossmember?

Are you talking about the rear member that supports the differential? If so, you shouldn't have to "beat" anything into place. Put some grease around the cone in the member so it can be removed later. The bolts should pull it into place.

Dave the originals were rolled over, I assumed I would have to do the same on the replacements?

Dave, just to clarify as I didn't make my self to clear, I'm installing the rwo bushings ($69.00 ea) into the crossmember that the differenital mounts too. I hope this clears up the mud a little.

I think I'm with you now! I think I would bolt everything up tight, then roll the tabs on the bushing on to the frame. The bolts will do the job holding everything together.
Somebody else jump in here in case I'm still confused!

put grease on mine, pressed into place, then pounded them in carefully. Then bent the tabs over. Of course I cleaned and made the holes round again after removing the old ones...rusted so tight I thought they would never come out....the fit is rather tight. |hammer|
