They have a detailed instruction document. The principles make a lot of sense to me.

they was popular in the 70's over here but seem to have gone off the market,that is not seen it about. i remember hubby blowing one up with high compression. so be ware.
but they do work ok.

Yeah they definitely work but I'd be really hesitant to use one on a high compression engine. They were initially made to be able to tune motorcycles and low compression engines way back in the late 60s and thru the 70s.
