I would like to lower the front end about 1-1/2 inches and soften the ride on my 1979 C3 corvette. I'm looking for coil over shock and spring recommendations or standard softer springs and height to achieve the 1-1/2 " lower set up.

I don't know what my current spring rate is, but the ride is very hard over bumpy roads. I would guess 400 to 500 spring rates.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.
