I'm starting to get a little grind getting into reverse. I know it's clutch time. I am not going to do any engine mods (have an LS5) but would like to have a clutch that has a little more meat on it than the stock clutch. Just the same, I don't want one that will break my knee, and I don't want to go with a hydraulic conversion. I haven't done a clutch job since 70's so I'm not up on what's out there these days.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions for new clutch upgrades on a '70 LS5 that are still user friendly?

Put a McLeod in my 68. It handles 500hp fine & it's not a leg breaker. I used their pressure plate & t/o bearing also. Had it in for a year now & very pleased.
